Survey Crew Chief

What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a key role in delivering survey work from field to finish, supporting crews, staying close to projects, and helping ensure things run smoothly across the board. Along The Way, You’ll Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, budget) Lead daily field operations for land survey projects, directing crew members in the collection of accurate field data for boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys. Perform field calculations, establish and check horizontal and vertical control, and ensure proper reference to known benchmarks. Oversee and train field technicians, promoting safe, efficient, and high-quality work practices. Conduct field QC reviews to confirm completeness and accuracy of collected data. Document site conditions, photos, and any field changes or discrepancies that could impact project deliverables.
