Health Services CoordinatorSchedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with an estimated 80 hours of overtime per yearLocation: Santa Fe Indian Health Service, 1700 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505Full benefits - Health Insurance, Dental and Vision2 weeks PTO7 days sick paid leave$50,000 - $60,000 a yearKey Responsibilities:Answer phone calls professionally and address patient queries.Provide excellent customer service and greet patients/visitors warmly.Check patients in for appointments, assist with scheduling, and update billing information.Act as a liaison between providers, patients, and visitors, facilitating communication.Assist doctors and nurses with medical exams, tests, and ordering supplies.Manage, scan, and refile medical records, ensuring completeness and compliance.Handle Release of Information (ROI) forms and ensure accurate record releases.Enter and monitor information requests in RPMS/ROI, maintaining accurate records.Conduct searches for lost records, perform quality audits, and prepare records for retirement.Ensure all tasks comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.Qualifications:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency with electronic health records systems, specifically RPMS/Vista Imaging.Knowledge of medical record-keeping standards and HIPAA compliance.If you are a dedicated professional with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
