CNA Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Answer resident call bells promptly.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and monitoring food and fluid intake.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Transport residents safely throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Active certification in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Graduate of an approved CNA training program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality care.
• Must meet all New York State Department of Health requirements.
