Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in respiratory assessment, ventilator management, patient education, and emergency respiratory interventions.

Schedule

• 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Hours Per Week
• Days and shift assignments based on department needs

Experience Requirements

• Acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills required
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions

Required Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

Required Licensure & Certifications

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
• Active New Jersey Respiratory Care License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under medical direction

• Educate patients and caregivers regarding respiratory treatments and disease management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and quality standards
