About the Position

Shift: 07:30am - 04:00pm, Monday - Friday including a half-hour lunch break. No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays Description: Practice within the guidelines of the state licensing board and ethical principles. Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews and testing. Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders. Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups. Assist medical and surgical patients in dealing with illnesses or injuries. Support patients in their rehabilitation process. This position is part of a program seeking to implement a new model of patient and family centered health care delivery for primary care. The focus is on a team-based, comprehensive approach to meet the primary care health and wellness needs of patients. Personnel will provide services in the Client. Requirements: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited psychology program. Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. General Knowledge: Possess the ability to pass a government background check/security clearance. Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed clinical psychologist Certifications: ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS). Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any state.
