Plaintiff Litigation Attorney

A nationally recognized trial firm with multiple offices is hiring a Litigation Associate to handle complex injury, toxic tort, and commercial disputes. The firm is known for high-stakes verdicts and a collaborative culture where associates own their cases from start to finish. The firm has excellent tenure, and my team has placed 2 attorneys there who have been there for 5+ years.

Responsibilities:

• Managing approximately 5 to 20 active cases in state and federal court

• Handling pleadings, discovery, depositions, pretrial preparation, and trial

• Appearing in court for case management conferences, hearings, and pretrial conferences

Hours:

Trial-focused environment with steady hours overall and longer days during trials.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $160,000 to $225,000 DOE

• Discretionary year-end bonus based on firm and individual performance

• Benefits include full medical benefits with 50% coverage for dependents, 401 (k) with a 4% match, 2 weeks of PTO, paid parking, firm-paid cellphone and laptop.

Requirements :

• CA State Bar
• 1+ years of California plaintiff litigation experience as a California-licensed attorney
• Ability to work onsite in Long Beach 5 days per week
