JD Laser, Inc. has an immediate opening for a first shift Maintenance Technician at our Jackson, Wisconsin location.  Hours would be 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday- Friday.

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

• Thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions,
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance duties on equipment as required and maintains competent knowledge of equipment, operations and processes throughout the plant., 
• Capable of addressing minor repairs and coordinating more significant repairs with fellow maintenance personnel and/or external services as needed, 
• General computer use knowledge – keeps documents/records of all maintenance performed, as it occurs, 
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to:  able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time, squat/kneel, climb stairs/ladders, operating equipment/power tools, and able to grip/grasp/pinch and reach overhead, as required,
• Assist in keeping our shop environment clean, organized and efficient, ensuring tools and equipment are in their designated places and ready for use.

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but not required.
