Nursing Supervisor
Westchester Medical Center Health Network
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the delivery for patient care through communication, resource coordination, personnel development, and data collecting/reporting during evening, night, and weekend shifts. Participates in intra- and interdepartmental planning when changes relate to these shifts. Nursing Supervisor oversees and interfaces with patients, staff and physicians and is the acting administrator on off hours. Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BS and/or MS in nursing strongly preferred Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience and one year management experience preferred. Membership in a professional organization suggested.
