## Sr. HR ManagerApplylocations: Davis-Bessetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 40015959If you have what it takes to become part of the Vistra family and would like to start a promising career with a global leader, take a look at the exciting employment opportunities that are currently available and apply online.**Job Summary**The Sr. HR Manager is accountable for partnering effectively with HR management, business management and Center of Expertise (COE) organizations to drive business results through effective management and implementation of all HR projects, initiatives and activities in support of the assigned area of responsibility to ensure consistency of Vistra Corp's HR policies across Vistra’s Business Units.**Job Description****Key Roles & Responsibilities**·Establish partnerships and maintain close relationships with business management to recognize, identify, and understand business trends, issues, goals and needs for present and future business initiatives.·Provide strategic human resource insight and guidance on organization issues and business implications pertaining to specific projects and initiatives.·Direct implementation of new or revised HR programs and/or policies through effective communications and training of business unit managers and employees.·Provide ongoing consulting and support services to business unit managers in the execution/delivery of HR programs and policies as well as guidance related to the management of their employees.·Manage HR projects and initiatives by coordinating and collaborating with business unit management and COE staffs to develop and implement programs and processes to meet business needs.·Provide coordination regarding Employee Relations, including the discipline process, between the business unit, HR and the legal department.·Support Employee Relations in timely completion of required regulatory filings and specific regulatory inquiries.**Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements**·10 or more years of progressive, related professional HR experience at high performing organizations·2 years experience leading bargaining unit negotiations·Experience working with mergers and acquisitions·Demonstrated success and experience in consulting on and driving Compensation, Performance Management, Staffing and Learning and Development.·Experience leading bargaining unit negotiations·Demonstrated leadership and customer focus skills·Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills·Certification as SPHR or PHR desired.·Demonstrated success in Project Management.·Knowledge of employment law and current HR trends.·Minimum education is HS Diploma or equivalency**Key Metrics**•Progress towards high performance culture as measured by correlation between performance and pay within assigned business areas and by employee survey results.•Favorable overall opinion of business unit management served regarding integration and operation of the HR function within their business unit.•Measurable upgrade in talent quality within assigned business**Job Family**Human Resources**Company**Vistra Corporate Services Company**Locations**Davis-BesseOhio### *We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
