We are actively hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab department at Dawn Hill Home in Bristol, RI. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working in a skilled nursing environment and wants a supportive, team-based culture with consistent patient care!!
What You’ll DoProvide physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans to support mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
Document care accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams to ensure continuity of care
Educate residents and staff on exercises, transfers, gait training, and use of assistive devices
Support safe mobility, fall prevention, and discharge planning recommendations
Maintain treatment areas and ensure safe therapy environments
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Rhode Island PTA license (or eligibility)
Long-term care or geriatrics experience preferred (not required)
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Passion for functional, resident-centered care
