Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with specialization in PET/CT imaging to be based in Leonardtown, Maryland. This position involves operating imaging equipment with a focus on ensuring patient safety, delivering high-quality diagnostic images, and effectively communicating with patients and healthcare providers. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Leonardtown, MD
• Schedule: Mon to Wed (10-hour days), Fri (10-hour day)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred; Nuclear Medicine credentials through NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required; CT credentials through NMTCB or ARRT required; DUAL licensure in Maryland for both CT and Nuclear Medicine Technologist required; AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; Valid state drivers license (as applicable); 1-2 years PET/CT imaging experience required.
• Additional Information: Local travel may be required. Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation. Local rates apply within 80 miles, with a $10/hour reduction on the bill rate. Rate is all inclusivemileage cannot be billed additionally.
• Position Responsibilities: Operating PET/CT equipment, pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection techniques, radiation safety compliance, producing diagnostic images, effective communication, and troubleshooting equipment. Mentoring new technologists and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
