CDL Driver A/B

Location: Cheswick, PA

Scheduled: Start time 5am

Pay

• Class A (Union) - $28.65/hour

• Class B (Union) - $25.65/hour

• Quarterly safety bonus

• $2,000 Sign on Bonus ($1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 6 months)

• Home on Fridays

• Overnight 1-2 nights at a time

• Occasionally 3 nights but not often

• Depart Sunday about once every 2 months (rotation)

• No out-of-pocket expenses- per diem, fuel card, and EZPass

• Sleep in hotels

• Must be okay with assisting in unloading truck as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destination.

• Distributes receipts for load picked up.

• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.

• Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.

• Contact customers to advise delivery times.

• Unload truck.

• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

Skills You Bring:

• Current and active Class A or B Drivers license with good driving record

• must pass Driver's Testing

• Must pass DOT Physical / Drug Testing.

• Previous pre/post trip inspections preferred

• Delivery driving experience preferred

• Proficient in reading and writing English

• Capable of working in a physically demanding work environment which includes bending; stretching; pushing, pulling, and lifting a MIN of 75 LBS
