Job Description
Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Hours per Shift: Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday and Saturday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM


Experience: Minimum of 2 years current CT/X-Ray experience required.
License: Massachusetts Radiology License required.
Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, ARRT (CT) and (R) required.


Must-Have:
- CT and X-Ray experience
- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and electronic formats
- Ability to perform IV insertion and injections


Description:
This is a CT/X-Ray technologist position.
Primarily CT will be needed for this posting, but X-Ray experience is also required.
Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
Initiative is required to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
May be assigned independent responsibilities by supervisory personnel.
Proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
May be responsible for assigned areas and assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel.
Practices infection control in compliance with departmental policies and OSHA standards.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Demonstrates proper operation of computer systems used in radiology.
Completes annual mandatory education, including infection control and body substance isolation.
Maintains department competencies as required.
Will be required to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
Candidates residing within a certain distance from the facility will not be considered.
Requested time off during the assignment must be noted prior to submission.
Scheduling requests must be made at the time of application.
