$42.83-$63.72/hr + 15% differential in lieu of benefits

What You'll Do

• Prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations and may perform fluoroscopic procedures. Performs portable examinations and may perform surgical x-ray procedures. Utilizes proper positioning and selection of appropriate technical factors using various radiographic equipment to obtain optimal results.
• Performs x-ray examinations applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures.
• Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self patient, and visitor. Evaluates patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.
• May perform surgical x-ray examinations, will utilize appropriate radiation safety measures and adhering to AORN standards.
• Performs other patient care activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience, and license/certification/registration.

What You Bring

• Accredited school of Radiologic Technology required
• Demonstrated venipuncture competency
• Radiology Technologist licensure - Washington
• ARRT - R
• Basic Life Support

We welcome new grads! Recent ARRT-eligible graduates, within 30 days of graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, may work under WA Temporary X-Ray Technician Registration (limited scope license) pending ARRT certification. ARRT(R) certification required within 3 months of hire.

Working Conditions: This role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching and the use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment. The ability to occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds and assist with patient handling (up to 35 pounds, with assistive devices as appropriate) is required. Regular exposure to biohazards, bodily fluids, and airborne particles is expected. Vision, hearing and communication abilities sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position are required.
