Travel Physical TherapistWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional rehabilitation services across a variety of healthcare settings. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to restore mobility, reduce pain, improve function, and maximize independence while adapting seamlessly to new clinical environments.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals.Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, fall prevention, injury prevention, and safe mobility techniques.Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices, orthotics, prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team.Participate in discharge planning and coordinate continuity of patient care.Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.Adapt quickly to new healthcare facilities, workflows, and patient populations while maintaining high-quality patient care.Required Qualifications:Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.Current BLS certification required.Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience preferred.Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training.Excellent communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Previous travel healthcare experience preferred.Experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), home health, or long-term care settings.Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, post-surgical, and medically complex patients.Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments.Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
