A well-established company is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Order Assistant to support its sales and order management team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter, process, and maintain sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Review orders for accuracy, pricing, product information, and delivery details.
• Coordinate with sales representatives, customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure orders are processed smoothly.
• Monitor order status and follow up on outstanding items, changes, and delays.
• Assist with resolving order discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Prepare and maintain sales orders, reports, and related documentation.
• Track shipments and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
• Assist with backorders, returns, credits, and order adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate information in the company’s ERP/order management system.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in sales support, order entry, customer service, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with an ERP or order management system is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
