Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT, X-ray Technologist)Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (DRT, X-ray Technologist) to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services to be provided include the full range of DRT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift. These examinations are achieved by using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic units, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units.Using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic unit, the chest unit, and general diagnostic unitsPreparing contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist in order to perform exams requiring injectable solutions such as IVP, cystogram, cholangiogram, fistulagrams, and arthrographyPerforming oral and rectal exams using injectable solutionsOperating a fully digital x-ray system and highly technical digital and computerized radiographic equipmentTroubleshooting equipment used in diagnostic radiologic procedures and making minor repairs and/or adjustmentsQualificationsHigh School DiplomaCompletion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training programARRT(R) certification is requiredAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is requiredA minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a Level 1 hospital settingMust have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 monthsPrior VA experience is desirablePay Range: $52.16 - $107.90 hourlyAll candidates must be able to: sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
