- We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Supply Chain to support the digital transformation of supply chain systems as part of a broader operations and IT modernization initiative.
- This individual will be responsible for designing and integrating scalable, resilient, and efficient supply chain planning and ERP solutions across multiple factory locations.
- Define and architect end-to-end solutions for supply chain planning and execution systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with operational and strategic objectives.
- Integrate supply chain platforms with ERP systems and adjacent business applications.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and operationally effective.
- Support phased deployment strategies and ongoing system optimization efforts.
- Proven experience in enterprise-level solution architecture for supply chain transformation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning tools such as: Kinaxis, O9 Solutions
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes including forecasting, planning, procurement, and logistics.
- Familiarity with integration patterns and data synchronization between ERP and planning platforms.
- Ability to produce high-quality architectural documentation and engage technical/non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect in Operations to support multiple planned initiatives.
- Client has two main plants for ZYN- an existing plant (in Owensboro KY) and a greenfield plant (in Aurora CO). From the IT perspective, the greenfield plant is being developed based on the global PMI stack of solutions while the existing plant needs to be retrofitted to the global PMI stack. Both these plants have MS DynFO as the central ERP.
- In addition, Clients US has a plant for IQOS (a different product from ZYN). This plant is completely based on the Clients global application stack (with SAP as ERP). It is possible that this stack may remain separate from that of ZYN- but an integration of the Supply Chains may happen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish an accurate view of the existing system landscape (Owensboro) by identifying all existing application components in collaboration with PMI teams and vendors.
- Technology evaluations & Fitment against Requirements
- Create solution architecture deliverables (solution outlines) that describe the as-is and to-be state using PMI standard architecture tooling and templates.
- Ensure designs align with PMI standards, as well as with infrastructure hosting and security teams.
- 10-15 years of experience in Consulting & Solution Architecture focused on Operations- across platforms ERP, Planning Systems (both mandatory)- like SAP, Kinaxis/ O9, etc. in the process and regulated industry.
- Cloud & Integration- Knowledge & Experience with AWS/ Azure, Mulesoft/ Dell Boomi
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity & Networking (OT networks/ segmentation)
- Ability to depict As-Is & To-Be architectures (conceptual/ deployment/ functional)
- Knowledge of the overall system ecosystem/ landscape in operations domain
- Experience working in factory environments, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of such settings.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with many stakeholders to create the as-is and the to-be solution architectures.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with diverse teams across multiple time zones.
- Bachelors Level education or Equivalent
- The Solution Architect will work as part of a program team, collaborating with Clients teams and vendors.
