As a technical specialist you would install, maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair a wide variety of complex automated production equipment and calibrate tools to adapt to the specific needs. Troubleshooting includes both electrical and mechanical issues. Assist in defining process verification procedures./liliSet-up and maintain as required MRO spare parts inventory requirements./liliPerform and record preventive maintenance and equipment calibration as required./liliParticipate as a team member in product and/or process troubleshooting processes as required to solve existing problems and as a means of providing cost improvement for the end product./liliKeep supervisor informed in all areas effecting product quality and output./liliInterface and work directly with other support personnel i.e. Set-up, Process, Product, Engineers./liliEquipment used: All equipment used by Maintenance Technicians plus specialized electrical test, troubleshooting, and programming equipment such as VOM, Oscilloscope, programming terminals, and other supporting equipment as required./liliMaterials used: All types of electrical and electromechanical control equipment including various PLCs, sensors, distributed control schemes, various input and output devices, analog and digital control devices, DC and stepper drives, various motion and motor controls, and other electrical and control equipment as required./liliAbility to troubleshoot and repair related mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functions and controls as required to facilitate repairs and improvements./liliOther related duties as needed./liliTotal responsibility to eliminate non-conformance within quality of products./li/ulh3Education:/h3ulliHigh school diploma required. Additional college and vocational courses preferred and may be required to broaden the individuals educational background./liliRequired: 5 years maintenance experience in an injection molding environment/liliRequired to be able to read, write and perform basic math.
