Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this position is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and validating financial data and reports to support forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reviews.This is an ideal opportunity for an analytical, detail‐oriented professional looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative finance team. Bonus potential up to 15%* Opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to senior leadership.* A strategic role with direct impact on business performance and financial decision-making.* Collaborative and supportive company culture, promoting continuous learning and career growth.* We offer a competitive salary and bonus, as well as benefits to include a 401K match of up to 5%* Opportunity for hybrid work schedule**Job Responsibilities:****Planning, Forecasting, Analysis and Reporting*** Assist in preparing forecasts and the annual budget, ensuring data accuracy, correct calculations, and meeting deadlines.* Extract, consolidate, and validate financial data from several systems to support disclosure and decision-making processes.* Maintain and update financial models, budget templates, and variance analysis reports.* Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial summaries, KPIs, and dashboards.* Analyze variances between actual results, forecasts, and budgets; investigate discrepancies and provide explanations.* Detail margin analysis by customer**Financial Control and Data Integrity*** Perform account reconciliations and validate key financial and operational data.* Monitor key balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and correcting anomalies.* Prepare necessary accounting entries and reclassifications to ensure the accuracy of financial records.* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.* Participate in preparing profitability analyses for capital investments.**Operational Support and Collaboration*** Provide analyses to improve margins, cost efficiency, and revenue growth.* Work closely with accounting, operations, and sales teams to gather information and clarify financial results.* Review results periodically with operations and sales teams.* Provide ad hoc financial analyses upon request from business partners and management.* Contribute to the improvement and automation of disclosure processes and tools.**Qualifications*** Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.* CPA with some audit experience (preferred)* 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and rigor in data management.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with an ERP (preferably Infor M3) and reporting tools such as Power BI is a strong asset.* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.**About Sanimax**Sanimax is a privately owned company with over 85 years of history, operating globally across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America.
