Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark , General Catalyst , Peter Thiel , Adam D'Angelo , Larry Summers , and Jack Dorsey .
Position: Hedge Fund Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $200/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Minimum four weeks
Commitment: 10+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate hedge fund strategies related to long/short equity to enhance AI model training .
- Develop and review financial models to improve AI-generated financial content .
- Conduct market sizing and TAM analysis to inform AI research teams .
- Analyze investment research, summaries, and memos for AI model evaluation .
- Predict and analyze earnings to refine AI model outputs .
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance .
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years of experience in top hedge funds.
- Experience in financial modeling , market sizing/TAM analysis , or investment research .
