Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 4x10s (6:15 AM – 5:00 PM) with rotating days off | On-call requirements include approximately 10–12 calls per 4-week period; on-call may include weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room environment, supporting CVOR and hybrid room procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 2-CVOR and 1 hybrid room surgical suite
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including IABP, ECMO, Atricure machine, and Impella 5.5
• Document and manage patient information using Epic EMR
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule, which may include weekends and holidays
• Adhere to facility dress code, including designated blue scrub color

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR CST experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NBSTSA Certificate required
• Active Virginia State License required — license status must be provided at time of submission
• Submission package must include documented work experience as a CVOR Tech and current VA license status or submission will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong CVOR background with experience in cardiovascular and hybrid room procedures
• Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular support equipment such as ECMO and Impella devices
• Experience working with adult patient populations in a surgical setting
