ML Research Intern — Autonomous Driving & Forecasting

Research, design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models that can be incorporated into our stack to perform scene understanding, trajectory prediction, and high-level decision making Responsibilities Assist with model fine tuning tasks needed for on-road deployment. Conduct model training experiments with different masking strategies to get valid planning trajectories for active-merge scenarios. Review latest literature in motion forecasting and suggest adoptions to Plus data-driven planning framework. Required Skills Pursuing MS or PhD in CS, EE, mathematics, statistics or related field. Deep understanding of machine learning principles and methodologies. Experience with implementing deep learning models in at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Jax). Preferred Skills Past experience in deep learning projects related to autonomous systems (e.g. object detection, semantic segmentation, agent prediction, decision making). Publication record in relevant venues (CVPR, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, SIGGRAPH). Salary Range $19 - $65 an hour Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
