Technology Risk And Production Support Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Risk and Production Support Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for driving technology risk governance, vulnerability management, patch compliance, operational readiness, and infrastructure coordination across distributed and mainframe technology environments. This position partners with Application, Infrastructure, Security, Database, Middleware, and Production Support teams to identify, track, and remediate technology risks, audit findings, security exposures, and operational issues while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate server maintenance, vulnerability remediation, patch deployments, and infrastructure upgrades
• Manage production implementations, change management activities, and incident reviews
• Conduct production readiness assessments
• Support governance forums, executive reporting, risk tracking, and audit responses
• Drive cross-functional delivery of strategic technology initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT related field or Science & Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant IT software experience (Development SDLC lifecycle)
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology platforms, including Mainframe (CICS, DB2, COBOL, JCL, z/OS), Java applications, MuleSoft integrations, and APIs
• Experience in Technology Risk & Governance, Vulnerability Management, and Infrastructure Coordination
• Knowledge of Change, Incident & Problem Management
• Strong Core Java skills, with knowledge of Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch
• Good knowledge of CICS/BATCH/DB2 and database background on Mainframe, DB2, or Oracle
• Basic knowledge of XML Schema and Processing Technologies (Parsers, JAXB, XSLT)
• Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, and enterprise observability platforms
• Experience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated technology environments

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
