Job Description

The Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to neonates in a hospital setting. This position requires a focus on quality care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our youngest patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients in the NICU, including assessment and treatment planning.
• Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Administer surfactant and other respiratory medications as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient activities and responses in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in a NICU setting is required.
• Mandatory certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience with PB 840 and Drager ventilators is preferred.
