- Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all Advancement Office personnel.
- Implement the strategic direction and operations functions of the Advancement Office as approved by the college President and the Mohave College
Foundation Board. - As the executive director of the Foundation, coordinate with the organizational structure of the Mohave College
Foundation and framework for all campus chapters/councils to include a common meeting agenda template, meeting schedule, meeting proceedings notes and distribution. - Maintain the Advancement Office and oversee record keeping of individual and corporate gifts, sponsorships and in-kind donations in compliance with industry standards and auditory requirements for a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and provide timely updates and reports to the President and Foundation.
- Develop a system to identify, research, cultivate and solicit foundation, corporate and individual resources to support the Foundation mission. Set overarching goals for the Foundation as a whole.
- Develop initiatives and direct the implementation of a series of district wide fundraising and membership development activities. Set yearly goals for the college and coordinate fundraising and member ship goals for the foundation and each campus chapter/council.
- Develop an ongoing incentive, follow-up and recognition program for those individuals, organization and corporations who provide financial or human resources to the College through the Foundation.
- Coordinate the work of College and Foundation committees related to fundraising.
- Prepare and publish monthly newsletters and an annual report of fundraising goals and activities for distribution the general college community and the membership of the Foundation.
- With the help of the Office of College Communications, establish, use and monitor use of the Foundation website and all appropriate social medial outlets.
- Plan, implement and evaluate fundraising activities such as the annual membership meeting, alumni luncheons and other similar activities.
- Design ,implement, coordinate and manage a comprehensive alumni program.
- Ensure that all aspects of the College's development program are internally consistent, thematically related and compatible with the policies and priorities of the College Board of Governors and the Foundation Board.
- Prepare College program budget, monitor expenditures, prepare funding requests and maintain budget compliance within College guidelines

- Work with the Foundation Investment Committee, establish a strategic plan for investment of Foundation assets; manage, oversee and direct foundation endowment, financial assets and physical assets
- Adhere to college, federal and state administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives and directives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting College operations
- Perform other tasks of a similar nature or level as assigned.
Minimum:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experiences that demonstrate knowledge and competencies required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in the area of college or university fundraising or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
