Join our Project & Programme Management Team as our new Senior Project Manager and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Senior Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of all project activity through the life of our appointment in line with Ramboll’s Project Excellence Lifecycle (our Project Management system). You will be part of our Project Management department, which consists of an exciting team of experts who respect each other and work towards a common goal.Your key responsibilities will be:Delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring scope, contracts, budgets, and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the project lifecycleWorking on the production of technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules that comply with the scope of servicesWorking on the design process through design workshops and cluster meetings for small projects, or providing direct support as an Assistant Project Manager on larger schemesPreparing and distributing as appropriate Monthly Reports, meeting minutes and (MS Project) programmes, and deliver (MS PowerPoint) presentations as and when requiredInterfacing with the internal Planning team as necessary for the production/updating of programmes on larger projects (typically generated in Primavera P6 format)Facilitating risk management workshops for both design and project-related elementsDeveloping and working with sub-consultants, typically external quantity surveyors, architects, landscape architects, specialist designers, and the likeEnsuring that fees/costs are prepared on time and correctly submitted to the Client with all necessary supporting information to facilitate prompt paymentDeveloping change within the project scope whilst ensuring delivery to Client satisfactionWorking with bid teams to ensure preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tendersAbout youMinimum HNC/HND in a Building/Civil Engineering or related disciplinePreferably a chartered member of an appropriate construction-focused association or institute (e.g. ICE/IEI)Experience in a project management role in the construction industry, preferably within a multidisciplinary engineering design consultancyKnowledge of National Infrastructure Programmes such as National Highway’s Project Control Framework and delivery of schemes within their Regional Investment ProgrammeKnowledge of construction and the design processesKnowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM RegulationsAn understanding of various types of procurement methods and contract administration requirements including NEC3 and NEC4What we can offer youCommitment to your developmentLeaders guided by our Leadership PrinciplesA culture that welcomes you as the unique person you areInspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsThe long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company Flexible work environment27 days annual leave plus bank holidaysMatched pension contributionsPrivate medical cover and life assuranceReady to join us?Please submit your application and CV online.
