Sunnyridge Construction is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This position is responsible for estimating, bidding, and managing civil construction projects from procurement through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in sitework, grading, asphalt paving, concrete construction, utilities, and public infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare competitive project estimates and bid proposals.
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material costs.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Develop bid schedules and project execution strategies.

Project Management

• Manage multiple projects from award through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field crews, and equipment resources.
• Track project budgets, schedules, and production.
• Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain communication with owners, engineers, and inspectors.
• Monitor project profitability and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with workforce planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in civil construction estimating and/or project management.
• Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, utilities, asphalt paving, concrete, and site development.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience with public works and municipal construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred

• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, AGTEK, Bluebeam, B2W, Procore, or similar software.
• Knowledge of ACHD, ITD, municipal, school district, and state contracting requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience).
• Professional network within the Idaho construction industry.
