Growing Chester County, PA client is looking to hire a Staff Accountant with QuickBooks Online expertise. The ideal individual will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, process accounts receivable/payable transactions, prepare bank & credit card reconciliations, maintain fixed assets, prepare financial reports, review capital expenditure schedules, and reconcile inventory as needed. This Staff Accountant should be organized, analytical, and capable to managing multiple accounting responsibilities while meeting deadlines.

Everyday Responsibilities

·      Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

·      Maintain and update general ledger accounts and supporting financial records.

·      Assist with account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.

·      Prepare and record journal entries to support monthly and year-end close activities.

·      Review invoices, payment records, and other accounting documents for accuracy.

·      Assist with financial reporting and provide documentation for internal and external audits.

·      Monitor outstanding invoices and support timely collections and vendor payments.

·      Maintain organized accounting files and ensure transactions are properly documented.

·      Utilize QuickBooks Online to record transactions, maintain financial data, and generate reports.

·      Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.

The ideal Staff Accountant will preferably have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:

·      2+ years of AP/AR/GL experience

·      QuickBooks Online REQUIRED

·      Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

·      Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications

·      Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
