Job Description

A busy healthcare facility is seeking skilled Registered Nurses with CVOR experience to provide specialized care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This opportunity involves a 13-week contract assignment, ideal for professionals eager to make an impact in cardiovascular operating rooms.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 13-week contract

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license with no restrictions
• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR nurse required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be maintained throughout the contract)
• Minimum two years of recent CVOR nursing experience (travel experience strongly preferred)
• Strong ability to assess and respond to patient needs in dynamic and high-pressure scenarios
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical nursing care throughout all phases of open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Ensure all preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative protocols are followed for optimal patient safety and positive surgical outcomes
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other OR team members
• Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Accurately document procedures, assessments, interventions, and patient progress
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort at every step
