Role Overview

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy regimes to help them achieve their rehabilitation milestones

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to provide all-encompassing and holistic care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Share knowledge with patients and their families about therapy techniques to encourage sustained progress beyond treatment
• Observe and Document Progress: Monitor patient development and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring they remain on the path to success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continued education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
