We are building the physical layer that the next decade of AI will run on.The RoleWe're hiring a hands-on IT Operations & Service Delivery Lead to build and run the operating model for corporate IT as we scale. This is not primarily a security or GRC role. You'll sit between employees, HR, business owners, GRC, and our managed service providers, making sure IT services are owned, supported, documented, measurable, and recoverable. The ideal candidate brings strong cloud identity and endpoint management experience, hands-on Google Workspace administration, working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, and the technical depth to manage and push back on an MSP. The role is hands-on today, with a path into formal IT Operations management as we grow.What You'll DoHelp define and mature our cloud identity and endpoint management model across Google Workspace and future Microsoft capabilities, including Entra ID tenant setup, Intune device management, and application deploymentOwn identity and endpoint standards: admin roles, MFA, recovery access, device enrollment, and future conditional access controlsManage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune licensing as those services roll outKeep us in ownership and control of our cloud tenants, configurations, logs, and credentials even when an MSP handles implementationBuild and maintain our IT service catalog, ownership model, support expectations, SLAs, and escalation proceduresDefine practical workflows for incidents, requests, onboarding/offboarding, assets, and changesOwn the MSP relationship day to day: ticket quality, service reviews, escalations, and continuous improvementBuild repeatable Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows across HR, Google Workspace, SaaS, and endpoint provisioningOversee Windows and macOS endpoint lifecycle: provisioning, imaging, MDM/RMM, patching, EDR coordination, and secure retirementMaintain an authoritative asset inventory and support SOC 2 and SOX ITGC audits with technical evidenceWhat We're Looking For5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, endpoint engineering, or IT service deliveryHands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including tenant administration and device lifecycle managementExperience standing up a Microsoft tenant and administering M365; integrating Microsoft cloud into a Google Workspace environment strongly preferredWorking knowledge of Google Workspace administrationDemonstrated experience managing an MSP or outsourced IT provider, including SLAs and vendor accountabilityStrong practical ITSM knowledge and SOP/runbook developmentExperience designing Joiner/Mover/Leaver processesWindows/macOS endpoint operations and asset lifecycle managementA hands-on problem solver who can work independently in a fast-moving environmentEven Better If you Have Experience With: High-growth or startup operating experienceMSP transition or provider migration experienceApple Business Manager/Jamf or comparable Apple MDMPublic company, SOX ITGC, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 exposureData center, colocation, or infrastructure company backgroundCertifications: SC-300, MD-102, AZ-104, ITIL Foundation, or Google Workspace AdministratorCompensation$110,000 to $160,000 base salary DOE + Bonus401k w/ match and no vesting periodEmployer Paid Health InsuranceUnlimited PTO#enghp
