Logistics Analyst

Description SAIC is seeking a Mid level Logistician to support NSWC Crane, Bedford, IN Division. Responsibilities Receive and review calibration requests from Calibration Custodian Request and report calibration quotes from vendors Coordinate retrieval of equipment from Calibration Custodian Manage outbound shipping logistics for calibration services Receive and inspect returned equipment following calibration services Obtain Calibration Certification for Metrology Engineer to perform technical review and approve Upload finalized calibration data and certification records into the calibration management system following Metrology review Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements Collaborate effectively as part of a team, working closely with other support entities Coordinate efforts with technical and professional personnel on matters affecting equipment performance, test objectives, and calibration/certification reliability and effectiveness Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience. Experience in logistics tasking related to position accepted in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, databases) Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; no clearance required to start Preferred Experience 5 or more years of related experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
