VP/Director - Project Management, Placement Agent

Venture Search is partnered with a leading placement agent, who are looking for senior candidates to join their Project Management team in NYC. This role is central to the execution of institutional fundraising mandates, working closely with senior bankers, fund managers, and internal teams to ensure capital raises are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. Responsibilities Serve as the primary project manager for multiple fundraising mandates across private equity, private credit, real assets, and other alternative strategies Coordinate all phases of the fundraising process, including timelines, deliverables, data room preparation, and investor communications Manage the creation and review of marketing materials such as PPMs, pitch decks, DDQs, and investor reporting Act as a day-to-day liaison between GPs, senior placement professionals, legal counsel, and internal support teams Oversee CRM activity, investor pipelines, and tracking of meetings, diligence progress, and closings Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professionalism across all client-facing materials and processes Manage and lead a team of juniors Requirements A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience Prior experience in a placement agent or Private Funds Group is essential Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple mandates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in PE, Private Credit or Infrastructure. High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and comfort managing complex workflows Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing with institutional investors and senior stakeholders Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior professionals #J-18808-Ljbffr Venture Search
