Loan Officer (Senior Level)

About the Role

A well-established financial institution is seeking a Senior Loan Officer for its Fort Lee, New Jersey branch. The organization has a strong U.S. presence and provides a full range of commercial, residential, and business lending services.

This role focuses on managing complex lending transactions and supporting the full loan lifecycle, with an emphasis on credit analysis, underwriting, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage commercial, residential, and business loan applications

• Perform detailed credit analysis and financial assessment of borrowers

• Manage the full loan lifecycle from application through underwriting, approval, and closing

• Conduct client interviews and gather required financial documentation

• Prepare and review underwriting packages and credit materials

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and closing

• Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory standards

• Maintain accurate and complete loan documentation throughout the process

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in lending or loan-related roles required

• Strong experience in loan processing, underwriting, or credit analysis

• Proven ability to manage full-cycle lending transactions

• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

• Strong Korean language proficiency (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial and/or residential lending products

• Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment
