Summary

As a HR Compliance Analyst at Knoxville Area Transit, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our HR operations adhere to all applicable regulations and standards. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our services and supporting our mission to provide safe and efficient public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to public transportation.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of operational practices to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with management to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on compliance status and present findings to leadership.
• Stay informed about changes in HR regulations that may impact operations.
• Foster a culture of compliance within the organization through effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration or public policy.
• Proven experience in compliance or regulatory roles, preferably within the public transportation sector.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with staff and stakeholders.
• Experience in workforce management and employee relations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of affirmative action planning is beneficial but not required.
