Job Title: ETL Lead PostgreSQL
Experience: 10+ Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Lead with strong PostgreSQL expertise to lead database migration, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on PostgreSQL administration experience along with strong AWS database migration skills.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- 10+ years of overall database experience with 5+ years of PostgreSQL .
- Lead PostgreSQL database migration and modernization projects.
- Strong hands-on PostgreSQL administration, replication, partitioning, performance tuning, HA/DR, backup, and recovery .
- Experience with AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS DMS, and AWS SCT .
- Experience migrating Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server to PostgreSQL .
- Lead migration planning, execution, cutover, validation, and post-migration support .
- Knowledge of ETL/data migration processes and database integration.
- Experience with Python/Shell scripting, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor DBAs/developers.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- AWS Solutions Architect or Database Specialty certification.
- Banking/Financial Services experience.
- Large-scale cloud migration and database modernization experience.
