Job Description:
We are looking for a Cashier to join our team at a clothing store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn . The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented, with strong customer service skills and experience handling transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with purchases
- Operate the cash register and handle payments (cash, credit, debit)
- Process returns, exchanges, and apply discounts as needed
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Answer customer questions about products and store policies
- Assist with stocking and organizing merchandise when needed
- Recent cashier or retail experience is required (within the last 1-2 years)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work Sunday - Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM
