IT Project Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to provide project management support for up to 10 IT projects of varying size and complexity within a structured Project Management Office environment.

The Project Manager will work with client staff to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. The role will support project planning and oversight, project documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk and issue management, change management, status reporting, project performance monitoring, and PMO activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT project management support for up to 10 projects of varying size and complexity.
• Work with client staff to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including: project plans, requirements, communications, and meeting agendas.
• Identify and track project risks and issues through resolution.
• Manage approved changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Report project status to management, staff, and stakeholders.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall.
• Monitor project performance using standard tools, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Planner Premium, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, and other recognized Project Portfolio Management dashboards.
• Support PMO activities by coordinating with groups on internal reviews.
• Track the completion of findings resulting from internal reviews.

Required Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and complexity, including enterprise-level initiatives.
• Experience providing project management support for multiple IT projects.
• Experience working with client staff to ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience assisting stakeholders with defining project scope and objectives.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, including plans, requirements, communications, and agendas.
• Experience identifying and tracking project risks and issues through resolution.
• Experience managing approved changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Experience reporting project status to management, staff, and stakeholders.
• Experience applying Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall project management methodologies, as appropriate.
• Experience monitoring project performance using standard project management or Project Portfolio Management tools.
• Experience supporting PMO activities, coordinating internal reviews, and tracking the completion of findings.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner or Planner Premium, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, and other recognized PPM dashboards.

Mandatory Certifications

• Project Management Professional, PMP, certification.
• Agile certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster, CSM or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, PMI-ACP.
