Field Service Engineer - GE CT/MR

Medical Imaging Equipment TechnicianResponsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to our medical imaging customers. This includes the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medical imaging equipment (Main Modality - GE CT/MR), ensuring it meets the highest operational standards. You will work independently in the field to diagnose and resolve technical issues, while adhering to safety regulations and OEM specifications.Essential Functions and Job Duties:Service medical imaging equipment focused within the United States.Calibrate and troubleshoot imaging systems and computer components to ensure performance aligns with OEM specificationsEnsure the system operates effectively to meet customer needs and expectations.Move the company forward in engineering competency.Represent the company professionally in all on-site interactions and communicate customer feedback effectively to internal teams.Evaluate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on imaging equipment, while providing advanced-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.Continual expansion of knowledge base in the repair and installation of equipment.Provide regular project updates, feedback, and insights to management, including the Zone Service Director, to support informed decision-making and continuous improvementRemain available to address technical issues and respond to inquiries promptly.Document newly developed processes and provide training to end users.Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.Role Competencies:Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain focus.Mechanical aptitude and desire to solve problems using initiative and critical thinking skills.Ability to work on concurrent projects and ensure timelines are met.Capable of building positive working relationships with team members, customers and vendors.Ability to be flexible and resolve situations with confidence and mature leadership.Solution-oriented professional who treats others with dignity and respect.Hold self to a high standard while ensuring projects are completed on time.Experience in delivering and demanding a high level of customer service.Thorough knowledge of safety regulations.Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal expression, and effective writing.Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, keyboarding, and internet research.Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through on tasks and responsibilities.Computer diagnostic software and hardwareDatabase entry and managementCollaborative team player who promotes open communication and shared success.Self-starter who can fill "down time" in productive waysValid driver's license and proof of safe driving historySubmit to and successfully complete MVR and criminal background check and drug screen.Submit to and pass a medical exam required under Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations and a written examination if asked to operate rental trucks or fleet vehiclesDrivers must comply with on-the-job driver's safety training if asked to operate rental trucks or fleet vehiclesMust be 21 or older to drive company vehicleCultural Fit:Exhibit the Block Core Values of Growth, Integrity, Together, and Honor.
