CT Technologist

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a CT Technologist for a top healthcare client. The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist in the detection and treatment of medical conditions. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and compliance with departmental standards. Job Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines Prepare and position patients properly to ensure optimal imaging results Collaborate closely with physicians and imaging staff to verify and interpret diagnostic data Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control policies Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring readiness and accuracy Monitor patient condition during procedures and report abnormalities as needed Accurately complete and record all documentation immediately following each scan Comply with all departmental, state, and federal regulations regarding imaging procedures Education Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience performing CT scans preferred Will consider a seasoned X-Ray Technologist willing to train into CT Certifications/Licenses Florida State DOH General Radiographer license ARRT CT Registry (or registry eligible and must obtain within six months of hire) Skills/Competencies Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and safety protocols Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting Commitment to patient care and confidentiality Benefits Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.
