Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Brockton, MA

Seeking a Registered Nurse experienced in Emergency Room care to provide high-quality, compassionate service within a hospital environment. This contract role requires adaptability and clinical expertise to respond effectively to a variety of patient needs in a dynamic ER setting.


Schedule:

• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Four-week rotations: Nights followed by days (or vice versa), with possible start dates of 4/6 or 4/20

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Proficiency in clinical ER skills, rapid assessment, and trauma response
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are preferred)
• Excellent patient communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Key Duties:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients in urgent and emergent situations
• Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV lines
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
