DescriptionKforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking an API Developer.Responsibilities:* Design, build and maintain APIs that enable data access and integration between different systems, ensuring secure data exchange and efficient data flow to address growing AI/ML and Data needs of a Fortune 500 company* Define structure, functionality, and endpoint of DataAPI's to meet specific business needs* Write and implement the code for DataAPI's using appropriate programming languages and technologies* Automate test coverage (90+%) for DataAPI framework for unit, functional and integration tests* Automate CICD processes and best practicesRequirements* 15+ years of experience in design, development and triaging for large, complex systems; Experience in Java and object-oriented design skills * 6+ years of microservices development experience* 5+ years of experience working in Spring Boot * 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring a technology team and ensuring the team's success while being a strong individual contributor* 3+ years of experience working with streaming technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ * Experienced using API dev tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Postman, Git, Cucumber * Hands-on experience in building microservices based application using Spring Boot and REST, JSON * DevOps understanding - containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD * Experience with Web API, gRPC and GraphQL architecture * Experience in streaming technologies like Apache KafkaJob TypeContractCompensation51 - $69
