About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) to provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight in all aspects of UME, including admissions, student affairs, curriculum, assessment, and accreditation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of the educational programs, fostering the development of faculty and staff, and strengthening partnerships within the academic and healthcare community. This role requires a leader with a strong academic background, recognized for their contributions to medical education, and with a proven track record in organizational and administrative skills. The Senior Associate Dean will also be involved in mentoring, team building, and promoting excellence in the school's missions. Applicants for the Senior Associate Dean position at the company should hold an MD or equivalent degree from an LCME-accredited institution, be board certified, and have a minimum of 5 years' of administrative experience in an academic medicine setting. The ideal candidate will have a background in educational program development, monitoring, and leadership, as well as experience in recruiting and developing faculty, trainees, and students. Strong knowledge of pedagogic principles, LCME requirements, and experience in national educational committees are essential. The role demands a leader who is adept at resource management, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to the values of collaboration, mentorship, innovation, and learner success.
