Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Mesa, Arizona. This is a Temp-to-hire position 100% on-site in Mesa, AZ. Responsibilities Full-cycle, high-volume, AP processing - Code, batch, process, and disburse accounts payable invoices. Run daily check and ACH pay cycles efficiently. Reconcile statements and invoices to ensure accuracy. Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts. Maintain effective vendor relations. Collaborate with internal and external staff to resolve payable issues, ensuring strong working relationships. Participate in internal and external audit requests. Qualifications 1+ years of recent accounts payable experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong proficiency in Excel is required. Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Exhibits excellent customer service skills and the ability to respond to the needs of coworkers and clients. Consistently achieves high work standards with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness. Shows initiative and the ability to think, work, and ask questions when necessary. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, customer/client focus, and teamwork. Required Work Hours Monday - Friday Additional Details The minimum pay for this position is $20 - $22 per hour, with opportunities for career advancement based on performance and company needs. This is an ongoing temporary position that may have the possibility of converting to a permanent role.
