At Amhof Trucking, Inc., we know that consistent mileage is the key to keepingyour paycheck strong. PAY YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR:$5,000 Sign on Bonus (Experienced - CDL Class A Company Driver paid quarterly)$3,000 (Tuition Reimbursement)$85,000 - $135,000 (Annual Pay Range)Home weekly/every other nightSafety $ Performance Bonus (Earn up to an additional 2 cpm)Referral BonusLayover Pay - Weather Pay - Breakdown Pay - Detention Pay as tendered through our customersAccessorial Pay - Oversized pay, tarp pay, local load/unload pay, stop and pickup payIncentivized Pay - Chicago, Pevely & DundalkOTHER BENEFITS (CDL Class A Company Driver)Pre-loaded trailersConsistent Mileage – we know that a great pay rate is only part of the equation-consistent miles keep you rolling and earning.Paid Vacation (80 hours after first year)Paid Holidays/Bereavement PayParking Reimbursement PolicyAssigned to Newer VehiclesBest in class equipmentRepetitive regional and national lanesTWIC Card ReimbursementNo HazmatIn-house Maintenance ShopMedical, Dental, Prescription Coverage (Qualify for health insurance first of the month following 30 days of employment)Paid Life InsurancePremium 401K Retirement PlanAFLACLegal ShieldRider & Pet PolicyWeekly Pay - Direct DepositWeekly cash advances on EFS CardQUALIFICATIONS (CDL Class A Company Driver)Must have a valid class "A" CDLMust be at least 21 years oldMust have 6 months over-the-road experience or completion from an accredited truck driving schoolMust pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinationMust consent to a pre-employment drug screen and must receive a negative resultMust consent to a 10-year check on work historyNo more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months, and no more than 4 violations in the last 3 yearsNo "serious" violations in the past 3 years as listed on the MVR/PSP.Serious violations include:- Excessive speeding - 15 mph over limit- Improper or erratic lane change- Following too close- Reckless/careless driving- A violation arising in connection with a fatal accident- Driving a CMV without a CDL- Driving a CMV without a CDL in the driver's possession- Driving a CMV without the proper class of CDL and/or endorsements for the specific vehicle being operated- Violating a State or local law or ordinance on motor vehicle traffic control prohibiting texting and/or prohibiting the use of a hand-heldmobile telephone while driving a CMVYou will be an at-will employee throughout employment at Amhof Trucking, nothing inthese guidelines, your application, or in the employee handbook guarantees employmentfor any period of time or is intended to be a contract of employment.Satisfactory safety and employment historyRESPONSIBILITIES (CDL Class A Company Driver)Report to the Operations Department70 hours in 8 days, 11 hours driving time, 14-hour work shifts with 30-minute breaksDrives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo,materials, or damaged vehicle.Maintains satellite communication contact Operations to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.Keeps record of materials and products transported.Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.Picks up preloaded trailer delivers cargo to Consignee.Drive tractor-trailer in all conditions in accordance with Federal regulations, normally in periods of driving within hours-of-service limitations, followed by an off-duty period as required by regulatory requirements.Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver's logs and other records required by law.Opens trailer doors to allow dockhands to remove cargo.Obtains customer signature or collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charge
