Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Med Surg / Neuro Acute BLS (AHA) NIHSS 2 Yrs. of Experience Must Reside 50 Miles Away (Locals Accepted at Lower Rate) 54-Bed Dedicated Neuro Unit Nurse-To-Patient Ratios: Days 1:4-5; Nights 1:5-6. Surgical Staffing May Increase Ratios To Days 1:6 And Nights 1:7. Patient Population: Stroke, Spine Surgery, Seizures, Brain Tumors, Head Injuries, Neuroscience Patients, and Some Medical Overflow. Required Experience: Level I Trauma Experience, Previous Travel Nursing Experience (No First-Time Travelers), and Prior Experience On A Dedicated Neuro Unit.
