Project Manager

This position is responsible for Project Management services for projects throughout Guthrie Health System. Through strong leadership and experience this person will manage projects from program through all phases of schematic and design development, construction documentation, bidding construction, occupancy and project close out.

Working knowledge of applicable codes, regulations and building standards. Must possess ability to collaborate with health system personal, architects, engineers, consultants for the development of plans and specifications necessary for management of projects from program development through design, construction and occupancy. Work requires analytical ability to analyze data, determine planning and facilitates strategies for successful planning and completion of projects. Strong estimating, scheduling and project tracking skills are necessary. Training and experience in handling multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget and control of each. Experience with project budget development and expense control tracking. ASHE Construction Certification desirable.

Unifies and sets vision for areas of responsibility in conjunction with GHS strategic initiatives. Maintains project records. Maintains accurate time, mileage, expense records as required by System policy. Adheres to system policy to maintain compliance. Attends meetings, training sessions as requested, assigned or required. Fosters and maintains productive, collaborative relationships with all internal/external customers, regulatory officials, local, state and federal government representatives. Demonstrates effective team building and leadership skills when working with Health System Personnel, Architects, Engineers, Consultants and Suppliers. Provides continuity of daily operations in program development design and construction for assigned projects. Coordinates with finance personnel the development tracking and close out of approved project budgets. Developing project budgets. Monitors, tracks and close out approved budgets in conjunction with project schedules. Provides project reports as requested or required per requested time frames. Managers projects for compliance with applicable codes prevalent to project status. Coordinates permits, regulatory inspections and certifications as necessary for compliance with all federal, state and local requirements for the work being done. Coordinates and maintains regular contact with entity personnel who are responsible for the daily operations of facilities being constructed or renovated in order to maintain ICRA, HIPAA compliance during construction and renovation.
