Manufacturing Engineer 3

Position Summary Acting as a lead, provides significant expertise on a variety of complex manufacturing issues to increase capabilities to produce new and existing Axillon products. Directly impacts all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation, as well as the sustainability and growth efforts of operations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Acts as a lead, providing advanced expertise on a variety of complex manufacturing issues to increase capabilities to produce new and existing Axillon products. Designs, improves, and installs integrated systems, procedures, and processes in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment. Establishes and maintains labor standards to monitor direct/indirect labor and machine performance. Coordinates all phases of cost reduction to improve manufacturing profits. Forecasts labor and equipment requirements to ensure adequate equipment, machine, and labor capacity. Provides objective functional and financial engineering guidance on capital expenditures to division management and follows up on implementation process.
