Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,115 per week

Overview Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN – Travel Nurse Location: Portland, Oregon Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Daily Hours: 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide critical care to sick and premature infants. Assist in delivering round‑the‑clock care with the team and offer emotional support to parents, including advice for home care. Care for infants transitioning to extra‑uterine life. Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Administer arterial and intravenous therapy. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators. Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift 10‑20 pounds of equipment at times; manage exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases. Qualifications RNs with 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience. BLS certification. NRP certification. Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment. Compensation & Benefits Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts (12 hrs) 36 hrs per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
